The month of August 2013 was not conducive to registrations: in total, it is -10.9% compared to last year. In all, just over 85,000 cars have been sold in France. It is a very bad month after that of July which, on the contrary, suggested a small beginning of recovery. Over the first 8 months of the year, the automotive market fell by 9.8% compared to 2012. Not all brands are subject to the same regime. PSA fell 17.3% while Renault rose 1.7% (including the decline in Dacia). For foreign brands, only General Motors (+ 15.9%) and Fiat are positive.
