More than 20 years ago, the company Franfinance was created to meet the financing needs of individuals in stores. Subsequently Franfinance expanded its services and offered direct financing to individuals.Franfinance, a 100% subsidiary of the Societe Generale group , did not seem, until now, to be really interested in the distribution of credits on the Internet. This is no longer the case in 2012 and it is a brand new site that we were able to test. In 2016, we were able to evaluate another new site.
Online information
The Your projects pages (auto, work, household appliances, wedding, etc.) do not directly present information, such as the credit range. You only have advice to carry out your project.
You have to go through the Credit Solutions pages to obtain an example, as well as the characteristics of the credit concerned.
An encrypted example is shown, but you have to go down the page to get it ...
On the other hand, the pages are not aggressive and there is no wholesale promo rate like some competitors. We do here in sobriety!
The commercial characteristics of the credits are integrated into the texts.
The legal notices are accessible from all pages of the site.
From the home page we find a simulation: it is serious and empowers the consumer.
Navigation / ergonomics
If the navigation bar is present, we do not understand, a priori, the difference between Your projects and Credit Solution . Obviously, if you come to look for a loan, it is because you have a project! ...
A promotional space presents some promotional rates over 12 months!
Even if the site is sober and very white, it is difficult to distinguish the different parts on the home page.
There is a site map but the mentions there are quite strange, like # 10780 (no title) but also with some gaps: no project page! To review then!
Another anomaly, during our last visit (January 2016): the site offers a sale loan on sale… but during the simulation we cannot choose a balance project… Not very logical!

The credits offered range from 5,000 to 35,000 us dollars for personal loans, and from 500 to 4,999 us dollars for revolving credit.
No credit redemption possible.
The simulation box has been revised and it's frankly much better. You can choose the amount of credit with the strip (blah) or by entering the amount directly (impeccable). For the durations, they are fixed 12, 24, 36 ...
Credit application: a reminder of the proposal is visible while filling in the credit application form.

Particularities

Lots of advice on projects in proportion to credits!
Overall, even if the Franfinance site is sometimes surprising in its choice of content, it is pleasant to navigate.
Pricing remains within the average of other establishments.
A non-functional site map: we are at a minimum in terms of online services!

Bank charges ... it continues!
Every year, we write one or two articles on the rise in bank management fees ... Every year, we see readers who are indignant at the punctures made by banks: bank card, account management fees, subscription access to the online account ... and finally, the fees increase again and again, and then nothing happens ...
