Fortnite Season 6 is almost over and luckily that also means the end of the Primal weapons, now it’s time to look to Chapter 2 Season 7.
A lot of strange things have happened on Fortnite Island and this week will be full of teasers leading to the big reveal in a few days. Here’s everything we know …
Update – When does the downtime start?
Based on previous seasons, we can expect downtime to begin on Tuesday, June 8, between 2-4pm EST / 7-9am BST.
The official time will be confirmed on Monday, June 7th, on social media and in-game.
Fortnite Season 7 start date officially confirmed
After a seemingly long wait, the start date for Fortnite Season 7 has now been officially confirmed.
We knew a little when it was due because since Epic Games Official Lists and the Primal Battle Pass for Season 6 in-game said the current season should end on June 7th.
As you can see in the tweet below, they are running ads on social media like Instagram and TikTok that show the start date next to the words “They’re coming” that we’ve seen in other teases.
Therefore, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 starts on June 8th, with the event taking place in the early morning before the Battle Pass and new content going live
Season 7 event start time
When you can start playing the Season 7 event, which will take place before the new season’s full update, is still something in the air.
However, if Season 7 goes like any other, we would expect the live event to happen right before the new update is released on the morning of June 8th.
It may be the day before if it’s a particularly large event, but we’ll have to wait and see.
We will inform you of the time as soon as it is known. Regardless of what time you log in on June 8th, you should be able to experience the event for yourself.
