RHOC newcomer FaceTimed, her colleague and friend Shannon Beador, was emotionally desperate and cried as she explained the difficult situation.
âSomeone came to deliver papers, divorce papers. He was in Puerto Rico. And all in Spanish, ârevealed Noella.
A stunned Shannon could only ask “what”. as she clutched her chest.
Noella continued, âHis dressing room is here, his things are here … his car is here. His life is here. He turned off the credit cards.
“I’m lost. I’m completely lost, I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what to think. It’s a bad dream. Just a really bad dream. I’m trying to talk to a lawyer, and what happens next.”
After learning of his âsecretâ tax debts, the brunette beauty began to sob as she explained, âHe made a mistake and he needs to fix it.
âBut I never thought that this would be the end of a marriage. You know, I never thought that would mean that I would be a single mom with our son.
âI just want my husband to come and tell me what the hell is going on? As if my son was diagnosed with autism in May. My mother was hospitalized in June. “
Noella’s husband currently has $ 5.8 million in tax debt that dates back to 2018.
Noella originally claimed she knew “nothing” about his financial crisis, and when he told her she got the impression that it was a $ 4 million tax lien.
However, a second lien added another $ 2 million to their massive debt ceiling, bringing the amount owed to the IRS nearly $ 6 million.
Last month, The Sun exclusively revealed that Noella is seeking legal and physical custody of her two-year-old son James Jr. amid their wicked divorce.
FINANCIAL NEEDS
In court documents, first obtained exclusively from The Sun, Noella said she wanted James to pay the spouse’s maintenance as well as her legal fees.
The reality star named as one of the newest OC Housewives earlier this year, as first confirmed by The Sun, said in the documents that they would allow James to visit their child.
James and Noella share two-year-old son James Jr.
The court ultimately decides on the child support awarded.
In the new petition, Noella noted that she did not know the exact amount of her assets and debts and that she reserved the right to update this information at a later date.
The couple married in June 2020, and James first filed for divorce from his wife in Puerto Rico in August, TMZ reported.
Sources told the outlet that the RHOC star was “blind” from filing, adding that James does not currently live in the shared Orange County home.
The separation seems to be mutual since RadarOnline reported that Noella also filed for judicial separation on August 2.
‘SECRET’ DEBTS
With the petition for legal separation, Noella was not petitioning to end her marriage, but this new petition for dissolution would ultimately do it.
James has yet to respond to one of Noella’s petitions.
Noella’s estranged husband first filed for divorce shortly after he was accused of owing nearly $ 6 million in back taxes.
He is a well-known attorney in Southern California, while many locals recognize him by his posters and advertisements posted throughout the area.
According to RadarOnline, “The IRS and the State of California have filed liens against Noella’s husband, who runs a successful law firm called Sweet James.”
James was charged with “failing to pay $ 1,878,438 for 2018 and $ 2,166,680 for 2019”.
Meanwhile, he reportedly owes the State of California $ 1,851,225.04 for 2018 and 2019.
